Every one uses Shred’s Rotational Energy System™ to manage rotational forces from angled impacts; the NoShock models add SLYTECH® shock absorption, the Totality NoShock and Basher take a chin guard for slalom, and the Basher is FIS RH 2013 race-certified.
Contrast Boosting Lens™ (CBL) 2.0 is Shred’s lens technology for reading snow texture. Our goggles come in three tints: ICE for all conditions, GLACIER for bright glare, and NIGHT for low light. Every Shred goggle we carry has the SHRED.wide™ field of view, NODISTORTION™ optics, an anti-fog inner lens, and fits over glasses (OTG).
Measure around your head just above your brows and ears, then try the helmet on: it should sit level and snug without pressure points, with your goggle sealing flush against it. We’ll confirm the fit in the shop.
A back protector is the foundation: Shred’s 2nd Skin HD protectors are certified to EN 1621-2 Level 2, the highest back-protector standard. Add the Protective Shorts for hips and tailbone (their lower-back and coccyx pads remove when you pair them with a back protector). Racers add shin and arm guards for gate clearing.
Yes. The Basher is FIS RH 2013 certified for FIS-approved race protection in all events, the Totality NoShock and Basher take the Hard-Ear chin guard for slalom, and Shred’s shin and arm guards use a GATE GLIDE™ surface for faster gate clearing.
