ZipFit Liners & Custom Footbeds
ZipFit liners hold your foot in position with cork that doesn't pack out, so your boots stay snug without squeezing. Pair them with our Boot Doc × Ridgeline Step-In footbed and get them fitted in our Boise boot shop.
Why ZipFit Says to Use a Footbed
ZipFits keep your foot and leg in position; a footbed supports the foot underneath so it stays there. ZipFit: "we highly recommend using a good over the counter orthotic or custom foot bed in your ZipFits."
Illustration, not a medical diagram. ZipFit: positioning your foot so your boots "don't cut off circulation" is "the single best thing you can do to keep your feet and toes warm."

Ridgeline Step-In Custom Footbed by Boot Doc
Our own Boot Doc footbed, made for Ridgeline Bike & Ski and fitted to your feet in the shop. It supports your arch so your foot stays put in the boot, instead of sliding and making you crank the buckles.
- Easy on: slides into the boot without catching
- Friction-free top surface
- EVA heel cup to hold the heel in place
- Sizes 23 to 31 (Mondo), fitted in our Boise shop

Workhorse
For skiers who work in their boots: extra durable and dependable for "120 days on snow, season after season" (ZipFit).
Corsa
The stiffest cuff and lowest profile for a heightened connection to the ski (ZipFit).
Freeride
The benchmark of all-day comfort, with a fluted cuff for larger calves and more front-to-back flex (ZipFit).

ZipFit & Footbed Questions
What skiers ask most about ZipFit, answered from ZipFit's own FAQ and our boot fitters.
Are ZipFit liners warm? +
ZipFit says yes, for two reasons: they "position your foot correctly so that your ski boots don't cut off circulation to your feet," which ZipFit calls "the single best thing you can do to keep your feet and toes warm," and the toe box is built from neoprene, merino wool and Thinsulate for a warmer fit than conventional foam liners.
Do ZipFits pack out like stock liners? +
No. ZipFit's OMFit cork composite "does not compress," so the fit stays consistent and the liners won't pack out. By contrast, ZipFit notes a foam liner "may loosen significantly in as little as 20 ski days." You can also add cork to the ankles or tongue later to fine-tune the fit.
Do I need a footbed with ZipFits? +
ZipFit says yes: "we highly recommend using a good over the counter orthotic or custom foot bed in your ZipFits," because ZipFits keep your foot and leg in position and the right footbed helps immensely. We fit ZipFits with our Boot Doc × Ridgeline Step-In footbed: easy on and friction free.
Leather or neoprene ZipFits? +
ZipFit says it comes down to preference. Leather-lined ZipFits give the most precise, true-to-form fit but need to be laced and stepped into the shell before each use. Neoprene-lined ZipFits are easier to step into and have more natural cushioning, with a slightly more forgiving feel.
Which ZipFit should I get? +
In ZipFit's words: the Gara is the all-mountain signature liner (LV = less cork for lower-volume fits, HV = more cork); the Freeride is the benchmark of all-day comfort with a fluted cuff; the Corsa is race-inspired, with the stiffest cuff and lowest profile; and the Workhorse is built for skiers who work in their boots, "120 days on snow." Come in and we'll fit you, or take ZipFit's fit quiz first.
Can I move my ZipFits to new boots? +
Yes. ZipFit says its liners can outlast your shells, and you can re-warm them so they fit your new shells. We do the heat molding in our boot shop.
How are ZipFits fitted at Ridgeline? +
We size the liner to your shell, warm and fit it with your Ridgeline Step-In footbed in place, and check heel hold and pressure points before you leave. Book a boot-fitting session online or call (208) 376-9240.
Where are ZipFits made? +
ZipFit says each pair is handmade in Montebelluna, Italy, so small cosmetic imperfections (glue marks and the like) are normal and don't affect performance.
Do ZipFits work for tele or snowboard boots? +
ZipFit says tele skiers do well with them, often in the Freeride and Workhorse for their fluted cuff. They're designed for skiing, so snowboarders can find success but should expect to make modifications.
Is Ridgeline a ZipFit dealer? +
Yes. Ridgeline Bike & Ski is listed on ZipFit's own dealer locator. Find us at 10100 W. Overland Road in Boise, serving Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Nampa and Caldwell.
How do I register my ZipFits? +
Scan the QR code on the hangtag. ZipFit says registering helps them track potential manufacturing issues and support you better, whether you bought online or from an authorized dealer like us.
